Snow is just not cool

It snowed just a little. Mom Briti, not the biggest fan of snow, was not impressed. But for us kittens it was a first. Paddy decided that the snow free zone at the house, under the garden table, was the perfect place to spend a day like this.
But I of course had to investigate a little further: Your paws get wet from the snow on the ground, your fur from the snow falling from the sky. This time, even the tree couldn’t save me.

  1. We didn’t get any snow yet. Last January we had a massive snowfall and we were both allowed outside. I loved it but Chilli started shivering in no time. I guess her paws got cold because she hasn’t got snowshoes like I do.

  2. We are actually furry happy we don’t get much snow here. Our mom feeds several feral colonies and she really gets upset when it’s really cold outside. She has taken a dog house out to one of the smaller colonies and filled it with straw. She was so happy to see the kitties snuggled up inside when she went to feed on Wednesday.

  3. Jay & Austin think that looks like a lot of fun outside – even if you did get a little wet… Not me, though! Mom could leave the door open for a week & I still wouldn’t go out! Nuh uh – not this meezer!

  4. Yeah that white stuff can be a real mess. If you’re going to go out in it you’ve got to plan additional grooming time into your daily schedule. A cat’s got to keep clean!
